The cycle is set to begin in the UK on August 20th and will reach Irish shores on August 24th. From there, the cyclists will make their way from Dublin and finish in Achill by August 27th - all in memory of the late Shane Corrigan. The cyclists are all amateurs and this is a monumental effort they are undertaking. It is  hoped that the funds raised from the Cycle will help introduce a vital piece of infrastructure into Ireland to help reduce the risk of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy. You can read more about the cycle by visiting the 'Cycle for Shane' section of our website.

With the cycle just days away, we are appealing for the support of our members, volunteers, supporters - and the wider public - to help the Cycle in any way. In particular, if you are living where the Cycle stops (Mullingar, Roscommon, Westport & Achill) and can spare a few hours on any of the days the Cycle is in town, we would love to hear from you.

Get in touch with our team by emailing fundraising@epilepsy.ie to find out how you might be able to support this incredible cycle.

Thank you in advance for your support and keep your eyes peeled for the Cycle for Shane later this month!
