Neurxapharm launch new comic strips on epilepsy for children

To mark International Epilepsy Day 2022, Neuraxpharm have launched a series of new comic strips which may be of interest to parents of children with epilepsy.

The strips follow lead character Emma (age 7) and how she approaches her epilepsy in her day-to-day life. You can find the first three chapters of the strip at the links below:

Neuraxpharm are the Irish supplier of Buccolam (Buccal Midazolam), a rescue medication used to stop prolonged seizures. Epilepsy Ireland provides training in Epilepsy Awareness and the administration of Buccal Midazolam to health care professionals, teachers and SNAs. We also provide demonstrations on the administration of the medication to parents and carers.
