Today is World Brain Day – an important day to raise awareness of neurological conditions and those living with them.
In Ireland, it is estimated that over 800,000 people live with a neurological condition, including over 45,000 who live with epilepsy.
To mark World Brain Day, we are supporting our colleagues in the Neurological Alliance of Ireland in disseminating and seeking responses to the My Neuro Survey. This is the largest survey of people living with neurological conditions across the Republic of Ireland and the UK – and is seeking to learn more about living with neurological conditions from three different groups:
- Adults living with neurological conditions
- Parents/carers of those living with neurological conditions#
- Young people and children living with neurological conditions
With over 45,000 people living with epilepsy in Ireland, we believe that all members of our community can provide invaluable feedback to this survey – given the unique challenges that people with epilepsy and their families can face in an Irish context.
By sharing your feedback, you can help build a picture of what life is like in Ireland when living with epilepsy and identify what can be done to improve the lives of people with epilepsy and others living with a neurological condition.
Each survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and each survey can be access via the button below:
