Community Meet Up for Parents/Carers of Adults with Epilepsy in Cork 9.4.25

Mixed group of people in age talking to eachother
09 Apr 2025

On the 9th April, we will be hosting a new event in the form of a community meet up for parents/carers of adults with epilepsy in Cork.

The event will be suitable for partners of people with epilepsy, parents of adult children with epilepsy and adult siblings of adults with epilepsy. We know that epilepsy is a condition which can affect the entire family unit, and regardless of the person's age, the worries and anxieties can still exist and there can be further complexities on how to support someone on their journey with epilepsy when they reach the stage of adulthood.

This new trial event is an opportunity to meet with others in a similar situation across the County in a similar situation, and meet their local Community Resource Officer, Niamh Jones, in-person as well. Some people attending may already have accessed our services and this event will allow you to meet in-person, have a chat and a cuppa! Further details on how to register and attend are below.

We look forward to welcoming you on the night.
