To mark Brain Awareness Week, we are delighted to be joining several colleagues for a special in-person information event in the North-West, which is being organised by our colleagues in the Neurology Support Centre.

With over 800,000 people living with a neurological condition across the country – and 45,000 of those living with epilepsy – it is important that people on their journey with a neurological condition are aware of the support services and organisations that are there to support them.

This event is aiming to share this important information with people living in the North West and our Community Resource Officer Catherine Caffrey will be in attendance to speak more about her work for people with epilepsy and their families in  the region, as well as discussing the range of supports that we can also offer to the wider community.

If you’d like to attend and hear more about the work of Epilepsy Ireland in the North West – as well as from our other colleagues supporting patients with a variety of other neurological conditions – you can find more details on the event below.

We look forward to speaking to people from across the North West on the morning and would like to thank our colleagues in the Neurology Support Centre for the invitation to speak more about our work in the region.
